Storm - 6-7 years old (Fostered in Union, SC)

Hi, my name is Storm and from what I hear my Hooman's saying I don't quite own up to my name just yet. I seem to be sleeping through the nights, and I get lots of "Good Girls" for lots of reasons, but I am still trying to catch on to what those mean. My Foster mommy says it's because I go tinkle and potty like a big girl outside. I walk good on a least, but I have to walk really close to you, because I need to know you are still really close to me. I don't like to be left alone outside after being inside these days. I love having the roam of the house when my foster mommy and daddy are home. It's so nice to go and walk, and stretch my legs. My fur brother and I are still warming up to each other, we like each other, but we also like our own space too. There is this little fur ball they call a "Cat", well she is nice, but I want to chase her. So, I am having to learn my manners with her. She is teaching me it's not nice to chase her in the house.
I love snuggling up to my hooman brother's as they let me lay on them and sleep. It's super comfortable. They even let me fart on them and they just giggle at me!
I love giving kisses and getting kisses. I love laying on the couch watching TV, and I love to snuggle in a blankie and sleep.
I haven't found my voice yet, so I haven't barked, but I hope to find it soon. I do know how to whine to get my way though, and it seems to work!
I am not fond of toys at the moment esp. the ones with squeak's in them. Don't like them at all.
I am slightly underweight and my foster mommy has been adding chicken and rice to all my meals, so I have begun to love this new menu. Its one of my new favorites.
I know its only been a few days at my Foster's home, but to hear them talk I have come such a long way. I know there is more to go, but as my Foster mommy tells me everyday, with lots of love, kisses, patience, and guidance I will be the best Storm that anyone has ever seen!

2/14/19: Hi, Storm here! Its time for a new update, as I have been a whirlwind lately! My foster mom says I have come a LONG way in two weeks and has told me so many times that I am the best Big Girl in town! She tells me all the time, how I have adjusted to "Tinkle Time" and how Stinking Adorable I am! I am not sure what that means, but I know it's something good because it usually comes with one of them yummy treats she keeps on the counter!
I am about to master leash walking, but I am still a little nervous early in the mornings or late at night when it's dark! So, I am still working on that.
Loud noises still spook me, but as long as you are there to tell me it's okay I settle down quickly.
I love ATTENTION, to cuddle, give kisses, to squish you as you are watching TV, to hold you hand in my paw and to always be touching you! Its a must! I also love to be snuggled up on the couch with blankets right beside you.
I sleep through the night; but I also like a little night light on to make me feel safe ; so hope you don't mind!
I am still very skittish of many things but my Foster mommy says I have calmed down a lot, and that you just have to have love and patience with me.
I don't have accidents in the house and I love to be on a schedule as it helps keep me on track.
If you are looking for the Perfect Storm to enter your life... well, here I am! Look no further!
