Annie - 2 years old (Fostered in Cornelius, NC)

I love my new foster home. I get to play with the two fur babies that live there and play with all the toys. I had a little food aggression around other dogs at first but foster mom helped me through that and I’m being really patience. I like to pull when I’m on my leash but she is working on that also . Fm tells me how smart I am and that I’m a quick learner then I give her kisses to thank her. My favorite thing to do is play fetch with a tennis ball I could just play that all day long. So overall I’m just a great girl and very loving. P.S. fm said to tell you how pretty I am I don’t know why but she tells me that all the time.

3/11/19: Annie is doing really well as she gets more comfortable here. Annie is spayed and heartworm negative! She will be 2 years old on April 1st. Annie is good on the leash (the lead that attaches on the front of her chest). She loves playing with my male one year old boxer. Her temporary foster had a cat and seemed to do well. Annie is very smart and is learning quickly.

3/14/19: Hi! I'm Annie and I've been with my foster family for two weeks now. Oliver is my host dog and he is a 1 year old male boxer pure bred. He is a fantastic playmate for me!! We wrestle all the time! It took us two days to decide to be friends, so if you have another dog please allow us time to decide how we might get along. My foster Mom thinks I would be a good singleton dog too if you don't have one. I was a single before my owner passed away as far as we know. Don't you think I'm cute?? I have already learned to walk on the lead the way my foster Mom prefers because I'm really smart! I've taught Oliver how to stick his head out the window for fresh air in the car, he's really good at it now! We are celebrating his 1st birthday next week and I can't wait because the food around here is YUMMY! I sleep well on a bed in my foster Mom's room, but I also sleep well in my crate when needed. I LOVE toys!! Please plan to have lots of them if you adopt me. I also like belly rubs and I give kisses. My hugs are welcomed by some and others don't want them, but I'm smart enough to learn what will be the rule on that at my forever home. My foster Mom doesn't let dogs on the furniture and I learned that very easily. Last night she said it was time for my first bath, and so I walked in the shower and let her shampoo me with a hand held spigot-I was very patient and calm because I just followed my foster Mom's lead. I like to woof and bark if I think my foster family needs to know who I see in the windows, but it's not too much for anyone. I will pretty much be whatever type of dog you need and teach me to be, because I'm that smart! Call my foster Mom to learn more or receive some pictures and videos of me~
