Who says good things don't come in small packages??? Meet TJ!  This guy is a little pint-sized cutie pie who needs a family.  Right at 40 pounds, this 1 year old boxer pup is a typical boxer...sweet, smart and spunky!  He LOVES toys and will play fetch with you til the cows come home.  He is a great playmate to our 4 legged fur babies so would make a great buddy for your dog.  He would also enjoy being the spoiled only child, too!  Even though he is a young pup, he is house-broken and crate trained.  TJ has already been neutered and has no known health issues.

TJ is still young and can feel a little insecure at times.  A home with structure, firm rules and boundaries would be best for him.  He would also prefer to be in a home without young children.  He needs to be with humans who will respect his personal space.

If you are looking for a lifetime supply of fun in the form of a pocket boxer, then TJ is the pup for you.  Fill out an application today!

9/4/18: TJ has been with us for about 4 months now and we love him more and more everyday.  He is beyond adorable, our favorite thing being when his upper jowel gets caught on his front canine and he has an accidental snaggle-tooth!  This summer we have discovered he LOVES chasing water so TJ says he would love a family to buy him his own sprinkler that he could play in whenever he wanted!  He has fallen in love with our 3 year old male, CBR Alum Patty, and would make a great companion for another dog.  He loves to share his toys.  He’ll grab a toy, bring it to his foster brother, and try to start a fun game of chase!  After an afternoon of play, he will plop right in your lap and take a nap.  He has made so much progress with us in these past 4 months.  At his previous home, he did not have the necessary rules and boundaries as a puppy so he had developed some naughty behaviors like guarding his food bowl from his humans.  Now with the proper training, TJ will sit nicely and wait until we say okay.  He will also allow us to approach and hand feed him while eating his meals.  We are so proud of how far he’s come.  He is still a little insecure and fearful with strangers and children approaching on the walk and entering the home.  We have a wonderful training plan in place and he has made lots of progress in just a few short months.  All of his quirks are completely manageable and we cannot wait to find him the perfect home who is willing to give him the structure and love that he needs.
