8/1/18:

Cooper is a happy, energetic young boy who is eager to please. He hasn't stopped wagging his tail since we brought him home yesterday. He is very playful. Cooper is on the small side of "medium". His is only about 56 lbs and that appears to be a healthy weight for him. He was determined to meet our 95 lb boxer mix right away, so we made an introduction sooner than we normally would have with a foster (especially 2 males, one of whom (Cooper) is still intact). It went very well, and they have been playing ever since. Cooper wants to be in on everything, and wants to be the center of attention. If I am petting our boxer, he will push him right out of the way. We'll work on sharing foster mom and see if this gets better over time. Cooper is not a fan of the crate, but has only been crated twice since being here. The first was overnight and the second when we left to run some errands. He barked for awhile both times, but then settled in. We'll continue to work on this as well. We gave him the name Cooper and in less than 24 hours, he is responding. He has also already learned the command sit...like I said, he is eager to please. Cooper will need walks (he needs leash manners!) and exercise for sure. He is really a super sweet and happy dog. In less than 24 hours, I can already see he is shaping up to be a great forever pup for a lucky family.

9/1/18: Foster Cooper is usually on the go so to get a picture of him still is rare. He is such a sweet loving dog that just wants to play. He likes to know where you are at all times. With him you are never alone.

10/3/18: Copper would love to sleep in our bed if he could. I came into my room to see this. He looks so comfy so I guess he will be sleeping with me tonight. I know he would love a family who would cuddle with him.
