Eddie - 1 years old (Fostered in Columbia, SC)

3 yo or younger, Hit by car, At least one leg assumed broken but seeing vet today, Lots of wounds, Good w dogs so far

My new house guest Foster Eddie is still getting used to the house. He was unsettled last night so he ended up sleeping in bed with me. I am giving him tons of extra love as he heals from a car hitting him.

Hello, folks! I'm Eddie. My foster mom says I'm a super sweet boy with an awesome disposition. I was hit by a car a few weeks ago. OUCH!! My front left wrist is broken and two of my toes. I have a snazzy green cast helping it get better. My whole tummy had road rash, but it's feeling much better. I had some nasty gashes on my back legs and face too. I still have staples in my knee. Foster Mom says I'm in good shape considering what happened to me. I don't have heartworms or any other yucky parasites. I've had all my shots.

I need to be neutered (YIKES!) but that will need to wait a few more weeks. I'm a young fellow - somewhere just over a year old. I have a soft, brown coat that I love to have petted. Belly rubs are the BEST! I'm pretty gentle for being such a young pup. My nub wags like crazy when you talk to me, and I can't help from giving soft hugs. I'm very good in the house. No accidents! I like humans of all sizes, boys and girls. I haven't met any cats, but I love all dogs. A playmate in my new house would be awesome!

I have about a month to go in my cast. If all goes well with the healing, my leg will be all better when it comes off. Fingers and paws crossed!
