Frankie - 1 year old (Fostered in Lexington, SC)

Hello everybody! My name is Frankie. I'm a one year old boy that LOVES food. You see, I have had it kind of rough already in my short time. I was wandering on my own for a while so I don't understand yet that I will never be hungry again. Foster Mom uses a slow feeder bowl so I don't over do it and I sit pretty before she puts it down for me. FM is also working on making me take my treats nice. I'm a pretty smart dude. Did I mention that I am also SUPER cute and sweeter than sugar? FM is scared to let me go out in the rain because I may melt I'm so sweet. I love to snuggle! I have free run of the house as long as my foster parents are home, which is great because I am not a fan of my crate. FM says once I am neutered I probably won't even need it anymore. Don't worry though! FM said that will be taken care of soon! Not sure I like the sound of that. I have a HUGE foster brother and a foster sister who is a lot bigger than me and we get along fine. We all sleep in the big bed with FM and FD at night with no issues. I play tug with my foster sister a little but when she's done, I got lay down. I'm a really mellow guy to be so young. I guess I will stop babbling about how great I am so I can go take a nap! Until next time, keep enjoying all the pictures FM takes of me!

3/28 Update

Frankie was neutered on 3/27 and is doing well. We have discovered that Frankie has an obsession with bubbles and any kind of blinking or reflective light. We think he would be better suited with older children for this reason. Frankie met ducks and rabbits and while the ducks scared him, he tried to get to the rabbits so we feel like small furries may be an issue with him. Frankie LOVES having big dogs to play with and when they aren't around, he seems depressed. We definitely think Frankie would be better in a home with a playmate his size or larger. He is still very much a puppy so small dogs may get hurt since he has the boxer puppy energy. Frankie still hates his crate and we use it as little as possible. He goes from couch potato to one year old puppy, back to couch potato. Frankie will need to be harnessed in public because he is very excitable. Frankie will make an EXCELLENT companion for someone who loves cuddles. He is definitely a sweet boy. Frankie is very well behaved to be so young and he listens pretty well too. Whoever adopts him will get a great, silly little boy!
