Hi my name is Andy. My family often calls me Buddy. I think they started calling me Buddy because I’m my dog sisters favorite Buddy. As you may have read I am blind, but that doesn’t stop me from exploring. I am fully self sufficient and can even rough house with my dog sister. Don’t tell her, but I have even won some wresting and tug of war matches. I am very well mannered and am so laid back. I am not a picky eater and am really never bothered by my dog sisters craziness. I am potty trained and crate trained. I enjoy bones and softer chew toys. I don’t really care for furry dog toys, because I don’t know if I’m supposed to be chewing them. I enjoy a quiter setting because I use my hearing to direct me as I can not see. I love to sleep in bed and have learned how to get in bed with my humans and my dog sister. I can even go up and down stairs by myself now. At first I was a little unsure and needed a leash to help direct me, but only after a few times I can do it myself. My silly humans even have dog stairs, but I don't need them because I can jump onto their big bed. I like my head petted, but I’m not to sure about the rest of my body. I can sense when my humans are going to pet me and I don’t like when they pet me from the front, sometimes I jump. But if you pet me from behind I have no problem. I am working on learning to let people love me. I have even given my humans a few hand kisses. I really need a home with another dog sister or brother because I follow them everywhere and am most comfortable next to another dog. Although I like to explore alone and be outside alone I like it best when I’m next to a dog friend.
