TAZ
January 10, 2010...  Taz continues to do well here.  He had a good Christmas with us.  His personality is great.  He still gets along well with our Sheena and with all people.  He has not met a person he does not like.  I do not know about cats or small dogs as ther are none of either around here.  I do know he will try to chase chickens so has to be on the leash when we take him outside.  If he manages to get out without a leash, he will run off so we have to be very careful about where he is when someone opens a door.  He is great with our grandkids.  They play well together.  We are still having problems with the house training.  He will potty when taken out but has no concept about asking to go out so we still have accidents in the house.  We will keep working on that. He still has some anxiety,  but that has gotten better as he has realized that he is not being abandoned again.
All in all, he is a great dog who just wants to love and be loved..

November 21, 2009...  Taz is still doing well. He is up to 47 pounds now.  He still needs to gain a little more, but  he   is looking a lot better.  The housetraining is progressing.  The only way he will let you know he needs to go out is just by getting real "prancy"  He will just prance all in front of you.  Of course he does that if he wants to eat too so I have to ask if he needs to go out.  He does not care for the crate, but has to stay there if we leave as he is still a puppy and I do not trst him yet loose if I am not at home.  He will get anxious when left for a long period of time, so we now have him on meds for that.  All around he is a great dog and would make someone a wonderful pet.  He is very affectionate.  He loves to play with our grandchildren and with our female boxer, Sheena.  He is  not a demanding dog.  He just loves whatever you do for him.  In the pictures Taz has the purple collar.  The other one is our Sheena (not for adoption),  Taz would love to have a fur-ever home.  He will give you lots of love.

October 23, 2009...  Taz is doing fine.   We are still working on his housebreaking.  He will "potty" when he is taken out, but will still have accidents if  he has to go before we take him.  We are making progress, but are not there yet.  His personality is still friendly.  He loves to give affection and receive it.  He will try to get on furniture sometimes, but will get down if told to.  He loves to play with our female Boxer.  He is a very active boy.  He also loves children.  He is still underweight, but he eats well so hopefully he will fill out soon.  He has not been neutered yet so that may be some of the reason for the accidents in the house.  He is a real sweet boy and would be a great pet for any household.

October 9, 2009...  Taz is new to CBR.  He is approximately one year old.  He has only been in foster care for a few days. He is a real sweet boy.  At this time he only weighs 40 pounds.  From his height and the size of his feet he needs to put on some weight.  We are working on that.  He does not like to go in the crate, but once there will behave well.  He is uncrated if we are at home.  We are working on house training.  He will not ask to go out, but knows what to do when taken.  The only accidents so far have been in the crate when we are away all day at work and he can't go out.  He gets along well with our female Boxer.  He also gets along well with our grandkids ranging in age from 5-10.  I will update more as we have him longer and learn more.
