July 18, 2010... Our sweet Dewey has crossed Rainbow Bridge. After consulting with the vet it was decided that Dewey was just to weak to overcome his medical issues. We would like to thank his foster mom, Ashley, for loving and spoiling him for the 2 weeks he spent in her home.... and for being with him when he crossed the bridge. He will be greatly missed.
July 12, 2010... Dewey is a sick boy... he is very skinny, isn't eating well and has an enlarged prostate. Dewey needs some further medical tests to determine the cause of his medical problems. Please consider donating to his care so we can get him feeling better soon! Current vet estimates just for the medical tests to determine cause are $431... this does not include the cost to treat him.
July 6, 2010... Well, Princeton is starting a new life and has a new name.... DEWEY!! We’ve become quite attached to our little(haha) Dewey already! … I did have to take him to the vet on Saturday as the cough was concerning me. I also thought that maybe because he didn’t feel well that he didn’t want to eat. EVERYONE at Banfield and throughout Petsmart LOVED him. He did get some antibiotics and cough medicine. Hopefully his appetite will improve soon! He is just the biggest, sweetest lump and we really want to see him put some weight on. WE LOVE HIS FEET! (Dewey Duck Feet)
June 26, 2010... Princeton is a super sweet 2 year old boy who is currently skin and bones. He is now loving life in his new foster home. He appears to be housebroken as he has not had any accidents in the house. He gets along well with my great dane and my lab. He also gets along with my 9 & 10 year old sons. I have not found anything wrong with his temperament at all. He is very sweet and loves to be loved. He walks well on a leash and when you stop, he sits on your feet. More to come on Princeton as we get to know him!
