February 25, 2010... Molly is being returned to rescue through no fault of her own. Her family is facing difficult times right now and they have made the difficult decision to return Molly to CBR. Molly is a sweet girl. She gets along well with both male and female dogs, as well as cats. She will be 3 years old next month.
May 21, 2008... Molly has been with us for 5 days now and she is fitting right in with everyone. Shortly after we got Molly, I noticed that her jaw cracks when she yawns. I took her to the vet today to have this evaluated. The vet said that he does not believe that this is hurting her. Her jaw did not sublux or have any crepitus (crunching sounds) when he moved it. He stated that this is something that rarely needs to be treated. She also has red, itchy eyes which he believes is due to seasonal allergies!! She needs to lose 5 lbs.
After her vet visit, I took her to PetSmart and she was perfect. I just looped her leash around my wrist and she never pulled me. She also met some kids. I was worried that she might jump up on them, but she was excellent (she does jump up on people sometimes when she's outside). But she just sat down and let them pet her all over and give her kisses. She's a really wonderful dog.
She has been great with my male and female boxers and loves to play with my cat. However, she does bark non-stop when the cat decides to hide under a table or the couch. For that reason, I think she'd be more enjoyable if she went to a home without cats. But, I can say for certain that she'd never hurt one - at least in the house. She did pounce on my cat when he was running outside!! No biting, though! It was just a game to her. You run, and I'll catch you!!
Anyway, we are really enjoying having Molly here - whatever family she goes to will be lucky to have her!!
May 18, 2008... Meet Molly... a 13-month-old female looking for a forever home. She's good with children, cats and other dogs. More info coming soon!
