CBR's Special Needs
Below are pictures, information and associated costs for some of the boxers needing extra medical care that Carolina Boxer Rescue (CBR) has taken into our program. Carolina Boxer Rescue is a non-profit, publicly supported organization. Without the help from private donors we would not be able to continue to take care of the sick boxers that come our way. We would not be able to provide these services if we depended on our adoption fees alone. Please read some of these stories and consider making a donation to Carolina Boxer Rescue. Thank you for all your help! You may make a donation via paypal by clicking on the chip in button (next to each dogs picture) or you can send a check to the following address:

Buffy had her procedure and was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Disease. She is now on a special diet and prednisone and is doing really well. Thanks so much to all who donated!!:

CBR has been hit with quite a few vet bills recently and we are in dire need of funds. The following dogs have needed vet work:
Starla: The family dog in her foster home decided she didn't want to be friends with Starla and started a fight. Starla had to have some surgery and is still undergoing treatment for her wounds. She will be fine once the wounds heal.
Jasmine: We think the mast cell tumor on her back leg has returned and she needs surgery to have this removed.
Buddy: needs to be treated for heartworms
