May 27, 2010.... Eloise and I went to see Dr. Tracy yesterday to get her opinion on how Eloise is doing. She has lost 4 lbs so she will now eat 3 times a day which of course she thinks is top drawer!!! She started her on an anti- inflammatory and Cosaquin (sp). A type of glucosamine. We are hoping that this will give her some comfort. Her back left leg is not receiving signals from her brain and her right front is showing the beginnings of this. She is enjoying life in the country and as long as she has quality I will do whatever it takes. So on Eloise’s chart things are great. An extra meal and 2 new meds that taste like treats!! What more can you ask for!!! Please keep this sweet funny girl in your thoughts.
February 25, 2010... I continue to do well!!! I had my checkup and the Doctor could not believe how good I looked. I am aging gracefully!!! We had some snow here but I was not impressed at all. My foster fur siblings liked it more than I did. My thoughts are why I would want to potty outside in that stuff!!! I am just waiting for spring and some warm sunshine to lay in. As a Senior Gal the cold gets a little rough on my bones but my Foster Mom has a couple of really stylish coats for me to wear. I got them on one of my shopping trips. Everybody stay warm!!

January 10, 2010... Happy New Year!!! I have been with my foster mom for a few weeks shy of a year! I am such a happy girl even though I am so very gray now!!! The Vet did not think that I would see Christmas this year but what do they know. I am doing well just moving a little slower and sometimes I am a little grouchy!!! I hope that all my friends at CBR find good and loving homes this year. So from my Mom and fur siblings a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

November 21, 2009... Happy Holidays! I have been very busy doing lots of things!! I went to the Boxer Bash and had a very good time. Mom said that I was a very good girl while I was there. I had to go see my Doctor and they found that I have a problem with my thyroid. I have been taking some new medicine and Mom and I can’t believe the difference it has made!! I feel so much better now. I have to go back in December to make sure that I am doing OK on the medicine. I have been going to work with Mom some at the zoo. Boy that is a fun place!! Everyone thinks I am very cute and I just give them lots of sloppy kisses!!! I hope that Turkey day is a happy one for all my friends. I am glad that I am a Boxer and not a Turkey !!!

September 27, 2009... Hello!
I haven't checked in for a while and thought I would update you on what's going on. I have been working very hard to get my figure back in shape. Mom says that if I would quit stealing loaves of bread and such it would happen a lot faster!!! We have a new little fur brother in our family. A friend of Mom's found him and we decided that there was enough love to include him in our family. Jack is his name and he sleeps right next to me at night!!! Mom and I have been shopping and I have a new collar that is really fancy to wear at the Boxer Bash!!! I am very excited about going!!! We get to spend the night in a place Mom calls a hotel. She said that I had to have party manners when I am there. So things are good in Eloise's corner and I hope to make lots of new friends at the Boxer Bash!!!

August 29, 2009... Hi Everyone!!! I thought I would let you know that I am feeling so much better. Don't tell Mom but she was right about me losing weight!! I am getting my groove back on and I am looking so fine! She is giving me a new food that makes my coat so very soft and shiny and my tummy likes it too! I don't have to take the Pepcid now. Things have been quiet around here my Boxer cousin Baxter (who is a fellow CBR member) spent a week with me. It really made me happy. He acts like Phoenix so it brought back happy times with my foster brother. Just wanted everyone to know that the rescue needs some pennies!! So if you have some extra please send them. The nice people at CBR have had a lot of sick Boxers and we need to pay our bills!!!! Well enjoy the rest of the summer and I send lots of love!

July 28, 2009... Hi Everyone! I decided I had better get in touch. I am in some kind of trouble with Mom!!! Mom has been so very worried about me. She said that I looked like a puffed up sausage and she was really scared that I had some more medical problems. Well we went to see Dr Tracy and I had put on 5 lbs in 3 weeks!!! Mom just couldn't figure out what was going on because I had all these tests run and they could not find anything. Well a few weeks ago Mom got some food for one of the fosters that had lots of calories in it. My foster brother was very sick and went to heaven. He did not even eat a cup of the food. Mom forgot about it but I sure didn't!!! She found it yesterday and wasn't very happy with me. You see it was 25 lbs of food and I had eaten over 3/4's of it in the last few weeks. Guess I can forget all the special attention till she gets over being mad! I did hear her say she was glad to know why I was so fat. So just say a little prayer for me that Mom will forget all about it!

July 17, 2009... Hello! Things have not been the best lately. I really have not felt very well but my Foster Mom is doing everything she can to keep me comfortable. I went to see Dr. Tracy yesterday and she told Mom that my tumor has gotten much larger. That is why I am not feeling so good. Mom has changed the food again and Dr. Tracy wants me to lose some weight. That really stinks!! So far things seem to be helping. I will be very glad when it isn't so hot. When you have a short cute nose like me it makes it hard to get a good fresh breath!!! Well Mom has promised me a shopping trip today since I was so good yesterday at the vet. So I most go and get ready.

July 2, 2009... Hello Everyone! It is truely summer here in Columbia!!!! I really don't like the heat at all. It makes it very hard for me to breath with my cute nose!!! I have a new foster brother and his name is Jimbo. Jimbo is very sick like Phoenix so I am being extra sweet. Now I have a job so that is kind of nice. I went to see Dr. Tracy the other day and she says that I am doing well. She gave Mom this special medicine that helps me not be afraid when we have thunder storms. I haven't lost any weight so that is a good sign. I am maintaining my girlish figure! Everyone stay safe and don't forget that some of us think fire works are very scary!!!!

June 12, 2009... Hi! I thought I would check in and see how everyone is doing. I have been trying to beat the heat and stay in the air conditioning!!! My Mom fusses about the electricity bill but just keep the cool air coming. I haven't been as perky as usual but Mom thinks its the heat. She said that if I didn't perk up we would go and see Dr. Tracy. I went to the Farmers Market at the zoo today. Mom had fun but I thought it was pretty much a waste of time. With the exception of the nice Cheese Man that gave me a cookie. Plus it wasn't air conditioned!!!!! I have been supervising Mom in the yard a whole bunch and thats lots of fun. I like it when she sweeps all the Magnolia leaves up then I can walk through them and scatter them every where!!!!! Mom said some ugly words the last time I did that. Well that's all going on in Eloise's corner. Stay cool and safe!!!

May 26, 2009... Hi Everyone!!! I just thought I would check in and give you an update on what I have been doing! My foster brother Phoenix moved out last weekend. He went to his new forever home and I am very happy for him. I can't say that I miss him a whole lot. I now only have to share Mom with Lili and Lulu. They are small so it's like only one dog. There is so much more room now in the bed with Mom!!! I have been doing a little retail therapy and you know how I like that. I am still feeling really good. That nasty tumor just doesn't bother me in the least. I have really enjoyed the warm weather and I like to lay out on the patio and just take a good old sun bath. Well that's about it from my neck of the woods.

May 6, 2009... Hi Everyone!!! I am doing great and trying to stay out of trouble. That is hard sometimes when you are a sassy girl like me. My mom has been a little put out with me because I have not been very nice to Phoenix. You see Phoenix is well now and I think mom should now concentrate just on me. My mom realized that I am afraid during thunder storms so when we have bad weather we play special games and have treats! It is kind of like a party and I am beginning to think thunder storms might be cool. I went shopping the other day and picked out lots of toys for my fur siblings. That was so much fun. Well that's all for now. I need to go and bug Mom some.

April 12, 2009... Hi Everyone!!
I just wanted to send a note and let you know that I am doing just fine! I have been very busy shopping lately. You know that us dogs have our very own "Walmart" but it is called the Pet Store. Well I went Saturday for my shopping spree and the sweet girls there had a special treat just for me with an Easter egg on top!! My foster Mom says that I am getting a little chunky because I am demanding to many little meals. What does she know!!! I have had a little reflux lately but Mom made some changes to my food and it is better. My foster brother Phoenix is now able to play with me some and I really like that. I just wish he didn't smell!!! But you know boys will be boys!!! I hope that everyone has a good holiday!!

March 21, 2009... Hi Everybody!
It's Eloise here. Boy I have been very busy. I am the official big sister to Phoenix our new foster. I continue to do well and I LOVE all my little meals. Mom says that I am turning into a "chunky monkey"! I have not been sick at all since eating little meals. I love going for walks and Mom tries to take me for a ride everyday. I have found out that if I whine enough Mom will do anything! Well I just wanted everyone to know I am doing well and have a lot of spunk and energy. I can't wait until Phoenix is well enough to play with me.

March 5, 2009... Hello Everyone! It's Eloise! I got all my stitches out and Mom made the lampshade go away. Happy days! I felt kind of bad last week so Mom took me to see Dr. Tracy. Well Mom says that they found another tumor and it is in a bad place. Dr Tracy and Dr Nori said that they can't take it out. So my Mom told me not to worry because she will always take care of me and we could stop looking for another home. I am real excited to know that I will always be here with Mom and the little girls. I get to eat 4-5 times a day now. I have to have little tiny meals but it sure is neat to get to eat especially when Lili and Lulu don't get anything! Any way I just want to tell all the nice people thank you for thinking of me and not to worry. I feel real good right now and Mom says she will make sure that I will always feel good.

February 23, 2009... Hi Everyone! I want to thank all the people that contributed money for my surgery. I had that nasty thing removed from my leg and 4 teeth removed. I felt really bad for a few days but my Foster Mom took real good care of me. I went today for a checkup and Dr. Nori thinks my leg looks very good. I have to wear this lamp shade on my head and stay in a puppy pen until next Tues. I HATE it!!! My Mom laughs at me so I have been pouting some. I heard my Mom tell her friend she couldn't believe how good I have been considering everything. I guess she means when I took the bandage off and figured out how to open the gate. Anyway I just wanted to let everyone know I am almost 100% and can't wait to find my forever home.

February 10, 2009... Hi! I have been in my new foster home for a month now. My Foster Mom says that I am a very good girl. I have to say that I have gotten into some mischief but my Mom hasn't gotten angry with me. She just showed me some other things to do that would be better. I really enjoy going for walks and meeting people along the way. My favorite place to go is the Pet Shop, They give me all kinds of yummy treats when I sit!!! I am waiting to get my leg operated on and I know that it will not be fun but I will feel much better. Also my Foster Mom told me that if I am 9 years old then she is 2!!! I guess that is because I have lots of pep. I have not had a single accident in the house and I sit in my crate and wait for my meals. Mom leaves me loose in the house with the little girls when she goes to the zoo and I am very good. All I need now is my very own forever home. Mom will send new pictures of me when I decide to stand still!!! Lots of kisses and wiggles.

January 25, 2009... Hi Everyone! It's Eloise again. I am continuing to be a very sweet girl in my new foster home. My Mom says that my true personality is coming out. I don't know what she means by that. She told me that I am a true impish Eloise. Maybe it was when I went through her pocketbook when she wouldn't take me for a walk!!! I won't do that again. Meanwhile my fur brother passed away this week and I have tried very hard to take care of my foster Mom and my foster sisters. They have been very sad but I decided that I wasn't going to let them do that. I haven't had an accident in the house and I go right into my crate when it is time to eat. My Mom doesn't put in there anymore except when it is dinner time. See everyone here has there own special place to eat. Mom eats at the table and I would like to eat there but she said no. I really need to get my leg fixed so that I can have a home that is my very own. So please if you have some extra pennies would you send it to me???? Lot's of love to everybody.
January 14, 2009... Hello everybody!!!! I have settled nicely into my new foster home. I have three fur siblings to play with and they all have been nice to me. I am really loving meeting lots of new people and have a Boxer wiggle for everyone. I really like going for walks and have already learned not to pull on my leash. My foster Mom took me to see the nice Doctor and they all thought I was very cute and sweet. I am going to have to have some surgery on my leg but my foster Mom promises me it will be alright. I even met a cat and acted very good. My foster brother would have eaten her for lunch!!! All I need now is a loving forever home!!!!!!

January 10, 2009... My name is Eloise. My Foster Mom just got back from New York and I remind her of Eloise at The Plaza. I am a very sweet petite girl. I am 9 years old but I have plenty of pep!!!! I like my new foster brother Ramses but I am not to sure about those little dogs. They haven't been very nice to me. I DON'T have heartworms but I have a hematoma on my front leg that needs to get well. My foster Mom will write more as she gets to know me better!!!!
