DAISY

February 9, 2011...  Daisy is doing great.  She has become the perfect house dog.  No accidents, chewing or digging.  She is such a lap dog, she does not realize her size though.  I believe she thinks she is 10 lbs and will try to fit in a spot on the couch even if it's too small she will curl up and be uncomfortable just to be up there.  Her favorite thing is to go for a walk, she gets so excited.  Even though she loves to go for walks she does not like to stay outside without someone with her.  She goes out to do her business and she is ready to go back inside.  It's as if she scared you will leave her out there.  She is definitely a house dog now.

September 20, 2010...  As you can see Daisy is no longer a bag of bones.  She is doing great!  Her favorite place is on the couch with me and at night she sleeps in her own bed in our bedroom.  She is totally house broken now:)  Her favorite thing to do is go for a walk, she gets so excited that she can hardly sit still to get her leash on.

She is still getting use to get a bath weekly, she sits there but does not care for the water at all.  It's only when it's over she acts wild and crazy and tries to dry her self off on my carpet.

Other than for walks, Daisy does not like to be outside except to go to the bathroom and she rushes back to the house.  Storms make her scared and she tries to hide under your legs.  She is a great house dog and is very loving.  And if you see the photo's you can see she is a ham and loves the camera.

June 26, 2010...  Daisey is doing Wonderful it has been weeks without any digging or chewing.  She goes into a crate while we are away from the house and once I get home I let her out.  She has never had an accident in the crate.  She sleeps in our bedroom on a dog bed and never wakes up until we wake her up in the morning to go outside.

She is definitely a lap dog as long as she can touch you she will lay down and sleep.  If you get up she gets up, she just wants to be with you which makes her so loving.  And as for going into her crate, she now knows it's a safe place and will walk into it freely when it's time for us to leave the house.  She loves to play and loves toys, we have been teaching her to fetch a tennis ball.  That is still in the works, sometimes she brings it back and sometimes not.

She is a house dog, does not like to stay outside for long.  Wants to be out there if you're out there, but if not she wants to do her business and go back in the house!!

May 27, 2010...  Daisey is doing great!  She does like to dig and chew -  I have to crate her when I leave the house but we are working on this.  She is eating, playing and putting on some weight.  She loves to sit in your lap and go for walks, these are her favorite things to do.  Deigo (male boxer in the foster home) and she play constantly.  If we can just get her to stop digging and chewing she would be the perfect pet!!
