April 8, 2010... I don't have much to additional info to write about Chloe. Besides she loves to kiss and play with my grandson. His response to it is "she's going to get me" and laugh and goes yuck when she gives him kisses. She loves to go on walks and once she hears a child playing there is no stopping her to want to join in and play with every child. Oh, she loves ice cubes. I just found that out because I dropped one on the floor and she came in the living room and was eating it. Other then that, there's no much more for me to say. She's doing great health wise, eating, and just plain being happy. It's going to be hard this summer when she's in the bed because she has to sleep right next to me. She's done well with Bubba these past few days. She is such a good girl.
March 10, 2010... Chloe is so happy the sun is starting to shine she can go outside and sit and relax. Chloe is still doing really good. She is one of the most go lucky girls around. She really thinks she is a lap dog but is just as happy to sit next to you if she can't be on your lap. Chloe will go in her crate during the day but she doesn't need to any more because she's house trained. She has such good manners now that you wouldn't believe that this was the same girl from when I first got her.
January 31, 2010... Chloe is now housetrained and crate trained. She is still a giant snuggler and is doing really well. Once the rain stops we are going to start taking regular walks because she loves to be on the go, whether it's in the car or walking around. She loves to go to Pet Smart and help me pick out toys for her and everyone else. She does well with everyone, from small children to elderly and little dogs to cats. She is just a great girl. She's happy for the few sunny days we have had so she can enjoy laying in the sun.
January 10, 2010... What more can I say about Chloe, she is a terrific girl. She loves everyone at all ages. She gave my grandson kisses like she's known him all her life. Her manners are getting so good it's amazing how fast she learns. She still loves to jump on people as soon as they walk in the door but that has even improved. Now she just gets on the back of the couch and waits for her greeting. She loves to talk to you. She's still a great snuggler and her favorite spot in the whole world is the middle of the bed and an added bonus is to have the sun shining on the bed. Her potty training is coming along just as well as her manners. No problem with the crate training because she knows she gets a treat.
December 16, 2009... Chloe is such a loving girl. She loves to play. She was spayed and did a great job with that. She is a lapdog and loves to snuggle. The closer she can get to you the happier she is. She seems to care less about cats. She gets along great with all types of dogs. She's crate trained and house training is coming along fine. Her manners are getting so much better. She is not jumping as much and she is always always happy to meet people. If she could have a job I would say it would be the Wal Mart greeter. It would fit her personality. You just need to watch out for the tail because it never stops wagging. She went up to a little boy the other day and gave him a kiss so I think she is even great around children..
October 23, 2009... So far Chloe and Britney have not stopped playing. My little dogs (chihuahua's) have been barking at her and she is a little curious about that but otherwise stays away from them. She is housetrained
She's a little rough when she plays with me, so I'll have to teach her some manners. She loves to sleep on the bed. She gets up on the couch when she and Brit aren't playing. She and Brit lay down next to each other during these few minutes and also at night in the room when they aren't on the bed.
Overall, she is going to be a terrific girl for someone who will play with her and would be terrific with another boxer or something similar that loves to play.
Right now, I would say she would have to be around older children because she does use her mouth when she plays. She doesn't bite, but her teeth are sharp and she does jump up and paw at you to play with her. She will grab your hand also just to get your attention not to hurt it. She's not food aggressive as far as I can tell. Scooter, my furry vaccum cleaner tries to sneak food from her bowl and she just backs away. So far, so good
More to come as I get to know Chloe.
