CHASE
January 23, 2012...  It is with a sad heart that I have to tell everyone that my foster Chase crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on January 5th.  Chase was adopted over a month ago by a wonderful family in Charleston.  Once in his new home, it was discovered that he had terminal lymphomona.  He came back to my house to live out his time.  He had a WONDERFUL Christmas and New Year and was doing great until around 11:00 on January 4th.  I took him into the vet the next morning and the wonderful people at Four Paws assisted him in joining the ones who have gone before him.  Please know that at no time was he in any pain and he quietly went laying in my arms.

December 19, 2011...  Our Chase hasn't been feeling well.  The vet has found a lump that he believes in cancer.  Chase will undergo a biopsy to determine what this lump may be and to determine a prognosis.  Please consider donating to Chase's care so that we can determine exactly what is wrong with him and what we can do to help him.

December 3, 2011...  I have had Chase now for about 6 weeks. I was told an elderly lady had him and couldn’t take care of him that is why he ended up in a shelter. Chase is the easiest foster I have ever had. He is loving, gentle, walks well on a leash, knows the simple commands like sit & stay. He is crate trained and also does well when left alone inside. Chase is house broken.  Chase was just neutered last week and is doing well. He is 2 ½ years old and weighs 55lbs.

Chase gets along well w/ other dogs, very passive. He likes children and playing ball. He does like to jump up, so may not do well w/ real small children. He plays w/ my neighbor boy who is 9. When Chase & I are walking & he sees a cat, he wants to chase the cat, so not sure he would get along w/ cats.
