Carley

June 26, 2010...  I was watching my friend's 20 month old granddaughter recently and Carley absolutely loved her.  She wouldn't leave her side.  She was so good with her.  Check out the pics of them together....

June 10, 2010...  Carley has come a long way in this past month.  She's learned how to play!  She talks now instead of growls, since this was the only thing she knew how to do.  She learns quickly.  She's your typical bouncy, wiggly, clumsy girl.  She wants nothing more then to be next to you, in your lap and kissing you.  She will sleep right next to you on the bed if you let her or she is just as happy lying on the couch.  She still is giving me loving little nibbles all over but they have gotten a who lot softer but she still does it.  She's still learning her manners but they are coming along great.  She will sit for a treat and when I tell her but she prefers the treat as a reward.  She goes in the crate without any difficulty with a kong or a treat.  She does need chew toys all different kinds.  She does great on walks and wants to meet everyone.

May 19, 2010...  Carley is about 2 years old. She is heartworm negative  She is housetrained and is doggy door trained. She is not food aggressive.  She does love to be right next to you.  She is learning on how to be a dog.  Yes, she has to learn this.  I'm not really sure what her life was before I got her but she had no clue how to be a dog.  She has finally started to play a little with my other boxer but she still needs training.  She's learning how to walk on the leash when she's not right next to me she's next to my other boxer.  She's is really learning fast.  She doesn't now how to play so she "fleas" you instead of playing.  What she is doing is nibbling on you like they do to themselves.  I'm pretty sure it's her way of showing affection and is trying to play.  She'll growl but that doesn't seem to be aggressive but it does get her point across.  She doesn't bite.  She would probably do best with another dog that is very tolerant.  She still needs to gain some weight but we are working on that also.  She is a quick learner, wants to snuggle and please you.  Will you give her a chance?  She is a sweet girl.
