BENTLEY
March 10, 2010...  As of last Tuesday – March 2nd he had put on 7 lbs in his first 2 weeks with us and is progressing nicely. His skin infection is healing and we have gotten rid of “snotfest” with a round of antibiotics. He continues to behave very well while having free roam of the house and now likes to be outdoors, especially when there are squirrels to chase! His foster brother taught him a few bad things like barking at the wheelbarrow and the lawnmower!  Still working on his walking manners, but quite an exceptional little guy!

February 25, 2010...  We picked Bentley up earlier this week, very smelly and undernourished. The vet checked him out on Tuesday and he has some skin infections which we are treating with antibiotics and he is heartworm positive. He is the SWEETEST thing, like our other “happy tail” Adina, he wants constant attention right now , but has really come out of his shell. He is a little shy, but not skittish and likes children and adults! Either I am the world’s best housetrainer or he is super smart ( I think he is super smart), but after a couple accidents the first day, we have been accident free since!  We put him in a crate on day two, but evidently he is Whodini and I came home soon after to the cutest face looking at me through the front door. So, now he has free roam with his Rocky and Adina and so far has been a perfect gentleman. We’ll try working on crating issues very soon. He loves to snuggle and loves being inside. He only wants to be outside to use the bathroom and that is probably from him being cold and hungry before. He loves walks and we will continue to work on his walking manners... He really is a great puppy and will be quite the looker when we put some weight on him! How can you resist those eyes?!!!
